SPRING IS COMING

"Towards Spring" is the title of a concert to be held on frosty days in Russia and Belgium on 12 February on the virtual platform of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Brussels.

An online broadcast of the Russian-Belgian Youth Concert with the participation of the Belgian band "Color-V", Choir MGIMO "PROXENOS" and the winners of the All-Russian competition "Russian Student Spring" will be held as part of the "Brussels Dialogue" forum.

Before the concert an on-line meeting with the young artists of the Belgian group Color-V and their soloist Arielle Omelianenko, head of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) choir PROXENOS Anton Tokovinin and winners of the All-Russian competition “Russian Student Spring” will take place. The honorary guest of the meeting will be the head of the Russian Union of Youth Pavel Krasnorutsky who will be in touch with the audience from the RSM Multimedia Centre in Moscow.

At the meeting, participants will discuss the development of cultural projects in a pandemic situation and share their experiences in conducting online activities.

The concert programme will include songs from the core repertoire of the Belgian band 'Color-V' and choir MGIMO 'PROXENOS', but also premieres: the choir 'PROXENOS' has recorded a new song especially for the Russian Centre.

Russian Student Spring is Russia's only and largest programme to support and develop student creativity. Belgian audience will get acquainted with the work of modern choreography studio "Zhest", singer Elizaveta Slyshkina, pop and jazz dance studio "ShowTime", VIA Fiesta LIVE, winners of  “Vesnaaa” Intensive art school and others.   

The concert promises to be interesting and exciting!

 

“Brussels Dialogue” Forum promotes the exchange of experience and knowledge between young people in Russia and Europe. In 2020, the forum was held for the second time on the online platform of the Russian Centre in Brussels.
